Alysrazor 10 man Normal: How To Heal Resto Druid Guide

This fight is a bit more complicated then Baleroc but here we go, im gonna assume you have a spec of 8/2/31

We normally two heal this fight an have 1 tank on either side of the field.  This fight is really just phase 1, phase 2 and 3 are pretty much the same for your whole group.
Don't worry about using all your mana + CD's cause you'll gain it all back by the next phase 1.

With that said lets get started.

Phase 1: Start off by healing your whole group after the push back, then grab 1 feather. (Should have 2 by the end of phase 1 but it may not happen based on damage, use cheetah form in phase 2 if you couldn't)
Start off by simply rolling Lifebloom the beginning shouldn't be much damage cause there's no hatch ling's up yet.

When a hatchling comes up he will do moderate damage roll HoTs when he goes into a tantrum start spamming Regrowth, your tank should be as close as possible to a worm but far enough away to not take additional damage.
If done right you should have only used 4-5 regrowths to keep his hp leveled off.

Tantrum – The Voracious Hatchling throws a Tantrum, increasing damage dealt by 50% and haste by 50%.

Gushing Wound – The Voracious Hatchling strikes all targets within a 10 yard 60 degree cone, causing them to bleed for 3000 Physical damage every 0.200000003 seconds for 1 min. or until the target's health falls below 50% of their maximum health.
Add that to your Grid or whatever raid frames you use under De-buff's  You can't heal through this and will have to wait till the target of this spell (Normally the tank) Gets to 50% hp till you can keep healing.

Now here comes the tricky part, the hatch ling will Tantrum right as the initiate casts his first spell, you'll need to be in range of your interrupter to dispel if needed but close enough to your tank to keep him topped off.

The tricky part is your tank and interrupter may be on opposite sides of the room, don't feel bad about telling your dispel-er to move closer he will take massive damage from that DoT if it's not dispelled fast.

Fieroblast – The Blazing Talon Initiate hurls a fiery boulder at an enemy, inflicting 37000 to 43000 Fire damage and 10000 Fire damage every 3 seconds for 12 sec.

Bottom line: Roll HoTs on the Tank, spam regrowth as needed (I Found Healing Touch and Nourish to be to slow for Tantrum's) while Tantrum's are up and dispel fast.

Phase 2: This phase is all about staying alive no need to heal, if your party cant dodge tornado's its there own fault.   Switch to Cheetah if you feel you need the extra speed or couldn't get 2 feathers in the last phase.
Fallow 1 Tornado, when a Tornado passes you going the opposite way turn and follow that one, rinse and repeat till the end of that phase.

  • Fiery Vortex – A Fiery Vortex appears in the middle of the arena, inflicting 50000 Fire damage every 0.5 seconds to players within 15 yards.
  • DeadlyHarsh Winds – Alysrazor's powerful wingstrokes cause harsh winds to scald the landscape around her nest, inflicting 50000 Fire damage every 1 seconds for 5 sec to players greater than 60 yards from the Fiery Vortex. This effect stacks.
  • ImportantFiery Tornado – Fiery Tornadoes erupt from the Fiery Vortex and begin moving rapidly around Alysrazor's arena, inflicting 40000 Fire damage every 1 sec to enemies within 10 yards.

Phase 3:
This is your burn phase, switch to tree if it's up and spam Wrath.  Don't worry about your mana you gain 10% mana equal to the amount of damage back during this this phase.
When Alysrazor gets back up the current tank and your party will start taking a ton of damage, your party should stack to her side while your tank faces the boss to the left when he gets enough stacks the second tank should taunt facing Alysrazor to the right.  Heal him like normal while keeping up group heals on your party.

Essence of the Green – If Alysrazor is struck by a harmful spell she emits Essence of the Green, restoring 10% of the caster's maximum mana.
After she gains back all her energy she will knock your whole group back, stack up and pop Tranquility (Another thing that will be back up by your next phase 3)

Full Power – When Alysrazor reaches 100 Molten Power, she is at Full Power. This deals 50000 Fire damage to all players and knocks them back. Alysrazor then begins her Stage 1 activities again.
Rinse and repeat till she die's, there is no enrage timer for this fight and after the 3rd burn phase she wont get back up.
