Cho'gall Heroic World First Kill by For The Horde

On Wednesday they were still fighting the Ascendant Council and now, just a short two days later, For the Horde managed to kill Cho'Gall 25HC. After their somewhat bumpy start to Cataclysm and the loss of a good amount of ranking points, For the Horde was able to get back to form step-by-step. Considering all that has happened, this World First Cho'Gall kill is an incredible feat by all the For the Horde players! So, they caught up with Paragon's 10/12 and the question about who will be first on the remaining kills on Al'Akir and the Heroic only boss Sinestra is really heating up.

The only thing that is certain is that it will be a really close one this time, and now the big question is: where will For the Horde go next? Will it be the safe bet, Nefarian, the somewhat known Al'Akir or the complete mystery that is Sinestra?

We have kill videos from several points of view and will of course release them as soon as other guilds also kill the boss.
Greatschock: The Cho'gall World First was one of the most difficult encounters that we have encountered in the game so far. With the gear in our current state the boss is absolutely on the limit of even being doable, a clearly harder DPS check than the Ascendant Council and it demands full concentration from each and every player. We're proud to have accomplished, after only 3 or 4 days progress on the boss, a perfect and, above all, absolutely exploit-free kill with a pretty normal setup.

Felyndiia (one of the two tanks): It's simply unbelievable! It's normal to get to a boss and think "Oh my god! How are we supposed to do this?". But this was a really extreme case. We tried a lot of things out, failed at many of them, discussed everything, and at the end there was just this one unconceivably perfectly played try that just dripped with fine tuning. And the best thing is: we didn't have 11 druids and 8 melees with us! The fight was absolutely on the limit. There was nothing left to give. For the Horde!

There has been some mumbling that there may be a Sinestra video you might want to stick around and be among the first to see the exclusive heroic boss in action.

And, what endboss could die without the traditional farewell sound:

Patch 4.0.6 PTR Notes - January 14 Update

Some of the things that caught my eye:

Druid - Balance
Moonkin Form now grants 15% damage reduction instead of increased armor.

Starfall will no longer strike targets that are not in combat and will now drop stars at a slightly faster rate.

Wild Mushroom is now instant cast, down from 0.5 seconds. In addition, the radius of detonation has been increased to 6 yards, up from 3, and damage done increased by 30%.

Disentanglement (new specialization): Causes shapeshifting to remove roots in addition to snares.

Slam weapon damage percent (at level 80+) has been increased from 125% to 145%.

Fel Armor has been redesigned. It now surrounds the caster with fel energy, increasing spell power and causing the warlock to be healed for 3% of any single-target spell damage he or she deals.

The sell value of all common artifacts has been doubled, while a small subset of common artifacts have had their sell value increased far beyond that.

Mystic Cogwheel is a new Engineering Cogwheel gem which provides resilience rating and can be purchased from the Engineering vendor for 55 Honor Points.

The Honor Commodities and Justice Commodities Vendors now sell raw tradeskill materials. These are not intended to be a cost-effective source of these materials, but an option for players with lots of Justice or Honor Points who have already purchased all of the gear that interests them.

Lich King trinkets with bonus armor values have been adjusted using the new Cataclysm formula, reducing their armor values substantially.
